||This class is designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. Class is slower paced and focused on developing clear and safe alignment in foundational poses. Come to learn, play, and maybe even break a sweat in a supportive environment. You don’t need to be able to touch your toes; you just have to be open-minded. This is an all levels class.|
|Yin Yoga||Yin Yoga focuses on passive asana with integrated breath work and meditation to create a deeply healing and nurturing practice. Postures are typically held from 2-10 minutes to calm the nervous system, lengthen and soften connective tissue and facilitate fascial release. It’s the perfect balance and counterpart to our more vigorous classes! This is an all levels class.|
||Gentle Flow is a breath-centered practice incorporating elements of Hatha and Vinyasa. This class is great for gently opening up the body and focusing on strength and flexibility. This class is good for beginners and for people who have an active practice looking for a gentler practice. This is an all levels class.|
||Classical Hatha Yoga is the practice of combining breath and asana, and is a potent alignment-oriented practice, which emphasizes the forms and actions within yoga postures. Slower moving asanas are held in accurate alignment and emphasis is placed on core strength, flexibility and balance. All levels welcome.|
||Slow Flow yoga is a mindfulness-based practice to improve patience, acceptance and letting go. Assist in healing and injury prevention, find relaxation, encourage the parasympathetic nervous system to override the stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system otherwise known as fight, flight freeze. This is a major factoring issue in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety and other trauma based conditions. Learn to transform tense energy to a steady flow and create some space for yourself.
This practice helps to cultivate stillness, calm and encourages patience and curiosity. It assists in opening up the body, connective tissue, ligaments and fascia to improve mobility and flexibility.
| Prenatal Yoga
||Prenatal & Baby + Me classes are designed to practice poses and breathing techniques which specifically support the many changes the body experiences during childbearing. Enjoy a supportive environment where you can connect with other women in your community who are on the same journey. Practice poses that open the hips, create space in the belly, and relieve pressure on the back. Prepare yourself to stay connected with your breath throughout pregnancy, labor, and motherhood. This is an all levels class.|
||Restorative Yoga is designed to relax, rebalance and renew with gentle, mindful movement, stretching, and supported restorative poses. Individualized modifications will be offered so that all students may practice safely and comfortably. This class will be especially enjoyable for those who are new to yoga, have therapeutic needs, are limited due to injuries, or are looking for a relaxed pace, soft music and a rejuvenating yoga experience.This is an all levels class.|
|Vinyasa Core Flow
||Vinyasa Core Flow is an organically moving, slow-flow with a focus on engaging the core correctly throughout your practice. It is a playful, fun and physical class. This is the class for those who want to work their whole body, building strength, balance and flexibility. This class is not suitable for beginners.|
||The class is a strong, vinyasa based practice, connecting flowing poses linked to breath. It is nurturing and supportive as the instructor encourages students to discover an awareness of their inner self, while experiencing the healing that Yoga provides for the mind, body, and spirit. This is a strong class, but all levels are welcome.|
|Flow & Go
||Flow and Go is designed for the practitioner who is looking for a balance between strength and flexibility. Class is a Vinyasa-based practice which is modeled on the practice of Ashtanga Yoga. At 50 minutes it is the perfect amount of time to fit in a practice in the middle of your workday.
Practitioners will focus on linking conscious breathing with a vigorous and mindful Vinyasa flow. In this practice, you will build strength, flexibility and concentration while heating and cleansing the body and calming the mind. This class is approachable for most levels – except the absolute beginner.
